The Baha'i Studies Listserv That is evidence that the Baha'i Faith "rivals "North Korea, Nazi Germany, the Soviet Union and China?!!!? You're kidding - right?
If the Faith "rivalled" those countries in even the remotest way, Nima would have disappeared a long time ago - and none of his family, friends, acquaintances, correspondents etc.would even admit to having known him and that he existed. After all, they want to live - and want their children or even grandchildren to do something besides shovelling manure in some remote region their whole lives. Informing an NSA that a person is no longer a member of the Faith is not "spying". It's simply passing on essential administrative information especially when the person is a loose cannon which in my opinion, Nima was. That is why I ceased corrresponding with him. Kolyma is the Soviet Auschwitz. 4) family arrests and also friends and acquaintances; disappearances; 5) spies within families (easier to do than you think); schools, work places, churches (including priests); hospitals, etc. Some of these spy reports are husband spying on wife and vice versa; parents on children and vice versa; friends on each other; school teachers on students in and out of school; The Baha'i Faith "rivals" these indeed! If such ignorance wasn't so tragic, it would be funny.
