While you are at this, you might check the engine ground stud for corrosion - disassemble, clean it and the terminals up, protect with dielectric grease, reassemble. Not a huge job. The harness and a bunch of other stuff grounds at this point and unreliable or high resistance grounds can cause problems that can be easily misunderstood. (wasting time and money in resolution-BTDT)
