Perhaps name it snmpinventory instead netinventory?
If it perform the same role, it should be in the same module (unless
exception dependencies), the user does not have to be exposed to
internal implementation details. Hence the use of a name focusing on
functionality rather than technology.
I agree with Guillaume. SNMP is technical, and for internal use. The
users need to know that it performs remote inventory.
