Mame is not part of the default Ubuntu install and this is not something
the average user would encounter, hence this can not be addressed as
part of the Paper Cuts project.

Rubbish Bin or any other variation of [word] Bin seems too long and

What about just using the good ol’ Apple + and - sign for maximize and minimize
respectively?

That's weird. If you switched the theme back to normal, this dot should
be black as well. Mine is.
Maybe yours are configuration problems rather than bugs. I'd then
recommend the clean install you mentioned already. Do not install the
beta on a production machine though (only if you like

works fine for me. Ambiance etc. still do not.

because the white Ubuntu logo has dark background there. It is the white
Ubuntu logo in the white »Add to

I don't quite understand the first paragraph. Sounds like the reason is
that the file is corrupted? This happens only for some pictures, I can
not recognize a pattern.
I can now confirm them failing to open in F-Spot though. File corruption
seems quite possible here. :(

Same here. But Radiance is still working fine, black logo on
white(/beige) background both times.
Could you please make a screenshot of your Menu Bar with logo and the
part of the »Add to Panel«-dialogue where the Menu bar is?

A similar bug is still present in the GNOME »Add to Panel«-dialogue,
where the Ubuntu logo next to »Main Menu« and »Menu Bar« is white-on-
white-invisible.
This happens for all dark themes [Ambiance, DarkRoom, Dust, New Wave].
(Running latest Lucid Beta updates.)

black on white. Did you update to the latest versions?
Though you have to close and reopen the »Add to Panel«-dialogue to let
it change if you are switching themes live.
