Bug#792946: bwidget: FSL failes to run due to bwidget

2015-07-20 Thread Vincent Kersten
Package: bwidget
Version: 1.9.8-1
Severity: important
Tags: upstream

Dear Maintainer,

please have a look at 792758: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-
bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=792758

_uninstalling_ bwidget solves the startup problem, leading me to believe that

- the call to bwidget from FSL is wrong
- something has changed in bwidget and FSL is not aware of the new call
- some error creeped into bwidget in the new version in Debian Jessie.

Thank you for considering this bug, regards,

  Vincent

Bug#722056: mricron: Render Save as bitmap does not work in the current version

2013-09-07 Thread Vincent Kersten
Package: mricron
Severity: normal

Dear Michael,
just got one of my users to report that mricron Render-Save as bitmap does not
work properly anymore in the neurodebian mricron.
There is however, a new mricron available in which all seeems well again:
http://www.nitrc.org/frs/download.php/5627/lx64.zip/?i_agree=1
That would be the 06/2013 version as opposed to the 05/2012 version.
BTW this problem started to happen when we moved from deb. squeeze to wheezy.

Best regards and have a nice weekend,

 Vincent

Bug#614043: opensm: no dependency based booting

2011-02-19 Thread Vincent Kersten
Package: opensm

Dear maintainers,

opensm poses some problems:
1. apt-get remove --purge is not possible when there are several instances
running on the network and this instance is therefore not started. However, in
the PID file there is a processnumber logged, which can not be stopped:

To remove the package i start 'tail -f' in another terminal, enter the pid of
the 'tail' process in the /var/run/opensm-0x0002c9020029aa2d PID file
and only then i am able to remove/update/upgrade.

Hope this report helps you making opensm integrating better with squeeze,
regards,

Bug#505674: ifupdown: No definition in /etc/network/interfaces for lo (in testing/lenny)

2008-11-14 Thread Vincent Kersten
Package: ifupdown

Severity: important

After installing the lenny/testing (via netinstall image) , i found that there
is no 'standard' entry for lo

Also, in this case 'ifconfig -a' does not show the lo interface.
