[Bug 1934293] Re: Add l2tp.sh in net from ubuntu_kernel_selftests back
** Description changed: [Impact] We have this test disabled intentionally in the past because of the lack of commit 27d53323664c54 "l2tp: remove skb_dst_set() from l2tp_xmit_skb()" in our kernels. The way we disable it is to override the executable bit with our autotest-client-tests suite [1], but this makes the test suite complain about script is not executable. Henceforth we further disable it by removing it from the Makefile in the patch "UBUNTU: SAUCE: selftests/net -- disable timeout" Now with commit 27d53323664c54 landed and l2tp.sh test re-enabled in our test suite [2], we still need to revert that SAUCE patch to get it tested. [1] https://kernel.ubuntu.com/git/ubuntu/autotest-client-tests.git/commit/?id=05d7eebf32c6872ebce6c9e5275b1ff9d91ecd16 [2] https://kernel.ubuntu.com/git/ubuntu/autotest-client-tests.git/commit/?id=7dea7776ce431e5a1c550dc73b1d9ac0ba49698d [Fix] - Revert "UBUNTU: SAUCE: selftests/net -- disable timeout" + Revert "UBUNTU: SAUCE: selftests/net -- disable l2tp.sh test" This test only exists in our tree since Focal. [Test] Run the net test suite in kselftest with patched source tree: sudo make -C linux/tools/testing/selftests TARGETS=net run_tests The l2tp.sh test will be executed. [Where problems could occur] This is only for testing tools, however if commit 27d53323664c54 "l2tp: remove skb_dst_set() from l2tp_xmit_skb()" didn't land properly we might crash our testing node like in bug 1854968. [Bug 1349078]
Dear Fritz R. Paul, To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year. There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. Please DO NOT Update the version field Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker) Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not appropriate in this case) If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so: 1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ 2. Test your bug 3. Leave a comment with your results. 4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo'; 4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat: https://web.libera.chat/?settings=#libreoffice-qa Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone! [Bug 1921494] Re: ldap_install_tls occasionally fails due to watchdog timeout when using ad_use_ldaps with tls
Hi Snakekick, Sergio and I have continued to attempt to reproduce, and we have modeled our config based on yours, and we think we see the issue. ldapsearch works, but sssd does not. If we comment out the line below in the sssd config, then sssd starts working. ldap_tls_cipher_suite = ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384 Can you comment this line out with a # and restart sssd.service? We took a look at this list of ciphersuites that w2k19 is sending, and ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384 is included in that list, but if we change ldap_tls_cipher_suite to something like HIGH:-SSLv2, tls handshake still fails. It only works when we comment out ldap_tls_cipher_suite entirely. We have also seen the same happen with Fedora 34 and Fedora 35 running in LXC containers, and the same thing happens with the sssd 2.6.0 upstream package in my previous comment. So please, comment out ldap_tls_cipher_suite and see if ti makes a difference. Could you also see if you see the same under Fedora, and not just RHEL or CentOS? Also, how are you installing your CA certificates on the client? Are you copying them to /usr/local/share/ca-certificates/ and running update-ca- certificates? [Bug 1946578] Re: Update for CVE-2021-41133
Please find attached the debdiff for Ubuntu 18.04 bionic. I have performed some testing in a VM and built in a PPA. Note that for bionic (same as focal), we likely want to use the version of libseccomp2 from bionic-updates ( 2.5.1-1ubuntu1~18.04.1) rather than focal-security ( 2.4.3-1ubuntu3.18.04.3). Is is possible to move libseccomp2 2.5.1-1ubuntu1~18.04.1 to focal-security? (and depending what happens here, then means a change to the control file of flatpak to specify the version?) [Bug 1946578] Re: Update for CVE-2021-41133
Please find attached the debdiff for Ubuntu 20.04 focal. I have performed some testing in a VM and built in a PPA. Note that for focal, we likely want to use the version of libseccomp2 from focal-updates (2.5.1-1ubuntu1~20.04.1) rather than focal-security (2.4.3-1ubuntu3.20.04.3). Is is possible to move libseccomp2 2.5.1-1ubuntu1~20.04.1 to focal-security? (and depending what happens here, then means a change to the control file to specify the version?) [Bug 1926697] Re: gdebi does not start w msg 'Download failed'
I can confirm this bug in 21.04. However, I think it's about to be coincidentally fixed through the solution to bug #1946499. At least I can successfully open gdebi-gtk in jammy (without passing a .deb file as argument), and if the SRU of the other bug gets completed it ought to be fixed in 21.10 as well. Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but this appears to be a "regular" (non-security) bug. [Bug 1947623] Re: Kernel Panic for Ubuntu 21.10, kernel 5.13.0.19.30 and Thinkpad E14 AMD
I have a Lenovo ThinkPad T15 with AMD Ryzen 4500 with Radeon graphics too, and got the same issue. This happened to me: - I bought the laptop brand new with no OS installed (per my request) - When I got it, I created a bootable USB stick with Kubuntu 2021.10 (Image that I got from the official page) - Kubuntu never started (I did get the menu from the USB stick though), and I tried both USB ports. - I try to boot with the recovering/safe mode and I see that error. - So I instead format the USB stick to have the bootable version 2021.04 of Kubuntu. - Kubuntu started and I was able to "Try Kubuntu" and install it. - Once the installation was done, I update all available updates and upgrade Kubuntu to 2021.10 from the console. - After restart, Kubuntu never started: recover mode showed the same error I got with the USB (which is the one reported here). So if the other Lenovo ThinkPad with Intel setup was able to boot Kubuntu from USB Stick with no error, I assume it has to do with the AMD setup. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1947623 Title: Kernel Panic for Ubuntu 21.10, kernel 5.13.0.19.30 and Thinkpad E14 AMD To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1947623/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1947902] [NEW] Under particular load, virtio-scsi backed / errors out
Public bug reported: As I often do, I tried running OpenZFS git master's ZFS Test Suite against the new Ubuntu 21.10 release, to make sure nothing was secretly broken. This is on an Ubuntu 21.10 amd64 VM (running 5.13.0-20-generic) inside VirtualBox 6.1.26 on Windows 10 x64, using virtio-scsi for the root disk. The host is not experiencing any errors or low disk space or anything whenever this occurs, and other VMs running on the host and same physical disk are unaffected. I have seen failures like this happen before when using VirtualBox's TRIM/discard functionality, but that has to be very explicitly enabled on the VM, and it's not. @seyeongkim, after reviewing this bug and looking at some of the data as well as maas and pexpect code, it seems to me like this isn't related to readline, I think the problem is maas is using pexpect without disabling echo. Can you try changing the VirshSSH() class constructor so that it passes echo=False to its superclass constructor, and see if that helps? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1921658 Title: Can't compose kvm host with lvm storage on maas 2.8.4 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/maas/+bug/1921658/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
