Ahmed,
You mean Secure CRT with Tab support...
You can do this with version 6.1 and up I believe ... but be aware they dont
have this version in the CCIE lab yet.

Hi Wanye
First of all happy Christmas!
I have suggestion which I want to share with you :-
Is it possible that the new COD for RS can be directly download from
IPexpert site (just like RS Audio series) and that 2 new workbooks which
accompany with new COD in electronic format can be print?
Hello : )
Obviously Wayne can chime in here, but the new VoD video content will be about
18GB of video and I am not sure direct download would be the best medium.

My question is from where did you get the multicast 224.0.0.0 7.255.255.255 ?

Thanks Joe for reply , I suggest this additional option (direct download)
because at least this give user to save shipping cost etc.
most of the countries has better internet conntion so may be 18 GB not a big
deal. it can be break into smaller part not ONE big file.
so let say if I am studying
Just binary math my friend :-)
The last 3 octets are all 1, so match everything.
First octet:
1110 = 224
0111 = 7
Meaning that everything matches from 1110 up to 11100111
11100111 = 231
Class D addresses reach from 224 to 239, so Class D is 16 subnets large. Half
of 16 is 8 when
Thanks Joe, what's the status of the new material?

This simply advertses the router to be a candidate RP for those groups. The
packets are sourced from lo0 in these advertisements. Scope determines how far
the messages can go through your domain.
Not to sound mean but dude -- command references seriously these are
fundamentals

Of course these configs are basic for you, but not for especially if I did not
come across these configs earlier. That is why I am here and I would like to
learn, Because its better to come across these commands in a lab environment
and do mistakes than in the Lab and exam room. :)
Have you tried right-clicking on the tab name to see if the menu offers
rename option?
Also, you may want to create connection entries for your entire pod and not
use quick connect every time.

When a dynamips host is running the vm listens on an ip address
(usually localhost but I think this can be changed) with each vm
listening on a different port.

Yes, there is a rename option.

OK, so rename option solves tab names. At least we got that out of the way.
Now, when you created entries for PL rack - you used the hostname
podXXXts1.proctorlabs.com and appropriate port number, with telnet as
connection type?
