I have issues with upgrading multiarch libraries, such as libpcre3, when
both amd64 and i386 versions are installed:

I just noticed debian bug #666359: The current cabal-install in Debian
(0.10.2) cannot be build at the moment and we should upgrade to a
version compatible with the Cabal shipped with GHC 7.4.1, i.e. 0.14 (?).

May I suggest another approach: make permissions same way as with cups printing:
'lp' group for those who are allowed to print, and 'lpadmin' group for those

Analogous to that: there exists 'netdev' group to allow use and switch existing
