I have an odd bug with:
http://build.webconverger.com/
Running from index.cgi does not work:
http://build.webconverger.com/logs/2008-08-07.sid.txt
Running manually *does work*:
sudo /srv/web/build.webconverger.com/build.sh logs/2008-08-07.sid.buildsh.txt
http://build.webconverger.com/
http://git.webconverger.org/?p=build.git
With this code I want to test that live-helper is capable build sid lenny.
Kind of a weather report or heartbeat of live-ness.
I am not keeping any images as I don't want to have to clean them up.
So with:

After the security stanzas have been added to /etc/apt/sources.list
live-helper should then dist-upgrade to incorporate those security
updates.
I noticed this here:

I could dist-upgrade manually doing a chroot[1], though I think it

How can i put a file in user user's startup?
I do this in Webconverger with a package that puts files in /etc/skel
On user account creation files in /etc/skel populate a new $HOME

Thank you Jordi. Your file works, though it does not work if I fail to
specify a 'domain' and just a DNS nameserver. :)
I think most users also don't care to set a
http://webconverger.org/networking/
live ip=eth0,192.168.1.22,255.255.255.0,192.168.1.1
syntax works, though it doesn't setup the DNS servers.
I think the gateway ip should be put in /etc/resolv.conf?

think up a good way of testing all
Hi thomas,
I think the problem is live-initramfs_1.91.1-1_i386.deb. Remove that and try
again.

I think with Webconverger at one stage I was deleting /etc/sudoers in a
hook. Though I removed the line, as I usually require sudo for debugging
and normal users shouldn't be able to reach a terminal.
Best wishes,

Thanks Eric for your helpful response.
I've since discovered I was nuking locales with the mini hook.
Now they're working again. :)

That ip line is missing the interface. See:

I reckon this will work for you:
ip=eth0,10.0.0.2,255.255.255.0,10.0.0.138

Hi guys,
Just managed to upload Webconverger 1.6 to http://webconverger.org/
where I hope you could please give it a try.
Webconverger is built using Debian Live and I hope to announce it to
distrowatch if I can get some good feedback.
Webconverger basically provides a Web kiosk. See:
The $LIVE_CHROOT is needed as I symlink in the l-h config directory and
hence the cd ../.. doesn't work.
Those groovy find arguments get rid of .svn directories that my config
directory is unfortunately littered with.

For some late night entertainment,
Did an USB etch image of http://webconverger.org/ d-l and compared
toram on a laptop. Here is the diff with `free -m` and `mount`.
