Re: [Flexradio] Flex-3000, no preamp
Thank you Larry, John and Tim. I'll run the production PreAmp test (ctrl - shift P) when I'm back on site at the Girl Guide camp on Thursday. Dudley has already contacted me off-list and offered to generate an RMA for repair if necessary. 73, Sheldon, VE1GPY PS. Please listen for CG100NS on Thursday and Friday. We'll be operating on 15M, 17M, 20M and 40M and trying to get many of the Girl Guides on the air for the first time. I was using the F3K today as one of four radios at a special event station without external filters and suspect I overloaded the receiver. Any chance there is an easy repair I can make before the event continues on Thursday? Re: [Flexradio] Location of SDRQuickAudio.wav
Would be nice if PowerSDR let you set the output path in the wave dialog box or options, rather than hard-coding the path. On Sun, Aug 14, 2011 at 9:31 AM, Ronald G. Having to set your system to show hidden files to get there just is off putting and the actual directory is buried pretty deep. It should not be this hard to access that file to make a copy of it. Yes I know there is WAVE widget in in PowerSDR but it doesn't copy the file so it can be emailed off and that is what I want to do. My two cents . [Flexradio] Flex 3K Audio Buzz
Ever since having my Flex 3K return from factory service on different problem - and the simultaneous upgrade to PSDR 2.1.5- I have been experiencing a buzzing sound on received signals. The same buzz is on my transmitted signal as well. Sounds almost as if I am running 60 Hz AC on the plates the way some amateurs did in the long ago dark ages of the hobby! This may occur after the rig/software has been on for only a few minutes . . . or it may not occur for several hours. Switching PSDR off then on again provides immediate, though temporary, relief - but is inconvenient when in QSO mode. The problem is present on both SSB CW. Anyone else seen this problem? Anyone have a solution? Re: [Flexradio] Location of SDRQuickAudio.wav
It is annoying that you can't set the wav files to a directory of your choosing for quick conversion to mp3 format or whatever else you might want to do. It would be an excellent enhancement for future releases. In the meantime, what I do after making a recording is to simply open the Wave menu, then click ADD, but instead of actually adding the file to the queue in PSDR, I right click on it and select Cut. Then I simply paste it to the desktop or into a working directory for processing. That keeps the recordings from piling up in the PowerSDR directory, and places them where I need them without having to navigate to the PSDR folder. Another way around this is to run an audio editing program such as Adobe Audition and use VAC to steer the audio from PowerSDR into the recording input of Adobe Audition, just as you would with any digital mode software. Then set Audition to record your samples as mp3 files and set the output directory to whatever location you want. Still, as Steve suggested, it would be a nice enhancement to be able to handle the file location within PowerSDR. 73, Rob W1AEX ___ FlexRadio Systems Mailing List FlexRadio@flex-radio.biz http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexradio%40flex-radio.biz/ Knowledge Base: http://kc.flexradio.com/ Homepage: http://www.flexradio.com/

[Flexradio] Digital mod audio sample size?
