Thanks, Nancy--I'm now capturing what I can from the Internet Archive.  So far, I haven't found any pages or other content missing, but I have a ways to go.  Her main page there also gave me the name of her (previous) hosting company, and I've reached out to them to see whether they can give

Lorelei once told me that the person hosting her site was a friend of hers who was giving her the hosting at very low cost (or maybe free).  I think he also maintained the site.  I tried getting his name/info from a WHOIS search, but it appears that he has sold the domain to a reseller.  I

Good news, for now. I found Lorelei's Pinterest boards. Search for "Lorelei lynxlady". Now, how long do they stay there? There are no fees for Pinterest so maybe those are good indefinitely. Clare I like your idea. Nancy On Sun, Dec 4, 2022, 14:11 Clare Settle wrote: > Just a thought -

Yes, I feel stupid. I realized immediately after sending that that the domain name is irrelevant. The content can be hosted anywhere -- it's retrieving the content and finding somewhere to host it that needs to be done. The hosting company would be on a subscription basis, so we need to move

Hi, Nancy! I am in the process of re-establishing the pages and forums that Lorelei originally hosted at Ning.  Before the Ning site went down (conscious decision by Lorelei due to increased hosting fees at Ning), I captured as much content as I was able to, from both the LaceIOLI site and

Lorelei’s family have been very generous in transferring ownership of a great amount of lace items to the IOLI. The IOLI has assumed responsibility for the Ning site and transferred it to the LaceIOLI.org site. Unfortunately, the person who was working on the site had to move and has not
