Hi,
Does anyone have a recommendation for a local company that sells and services
gravity drain basement dehumidifiers?
Thank you,

Thank you Ruth Ann for clarifying rules.
And for asking for suggestions.
Thanks to all who wrote in. I learned a lot. Early this morning I watered
my newly planted butterfly weed with water I used to cook corn last
night. Snd will use more of the suggestions. Was so hoping for rain
Hi Lincoln Talk,
I'm looking for about 10-15 old pillowcases to use for a project. If you
have any, I'd be happy to swing by and pick up this week. Please respond to
l...@lincolnconservation.org if you have any to offer. Thanks in advance!

Dear LincolnTalk,
As recently promised by Ruth Ann Hendrickson, Water Commission Chair, the Water
Commissioners will have a virtual public meeting this coming Friday, July 29th,

of a Level 3 critical drought for our
If you are looking for a groundcover, maybe Asarum Canadense (Canadian wild
ginger) would be good. That's native. Pretty leaves.

For the time being, the Water Department is allowing hand watering by
hose of personal vegetable gardens and watering by bucket or watering

We needed a color printer, otherwise we would have kept using this trooper:
HP LaserJet 2300dn (duplexer, wired networking)
25 ppm, up to 1200 dpi
< 28000 pages printed during its lifetime
~1600 pages left on the toner cartridge (HP 10A cartridge)
*Answer from Susan Donaldson is below:*
The new stickers should be considered a* “First Sticker” *as they are for
the new 2 year period starting September 1, 2022. Replacement stickers
are for stickers that are lost, damaged, etc. Not a big deal if you select
replacement at this time.
Good tips, thanks Robin.

We battle Sweet Woodruff in many conservation fields in Lincoln - it is very
aggressive! I would strongly advise against planting it anywhere. A good place
to look for native plant recommendations is either on LLCT's website,

My brother and sister-in-law are looking for temporary housing in Lincoln,
a note from them below:
We are searching for a short to medium term housing option in the Lincoln

Great catch, Heather!
It is also an excellent time to make sure none of your toilets are running and
that you have no other leaks. The Lincoln Water Dept. has guidance on their
website for how to check for leaks.

If you have an irrigation system please check the programming! On an early
morning walk today we were amazed at the number of sprinkler systems running
like usual in Lincoln watering lawns.
