Let us not let the perfect get in the way of the good enough.
LT has served us for the past years and appears to be good enough for us to
swap goods, info, services, and political ideas.
Let’s stay the course…it seems good enough to get us where we need to go.

extra place to go to read the LT messages. The beauty of the email-based list
is that it's right in with other daily communication. It is so
I am just grateful to our VOLUNTEER listserve moderators for using whatever
system is most convenient to them! (Spoke by someone who uses Slack at work and
really does not like it because it doesn’t interface with email, so you have to
open the Slack program separately to find any messages -
I love Slack. My wife and I have a private Slack server for running our
household. But everyone knows how to use email -- I think a lot of folks
who aren't used to Slack might struggle to use it, and community engagement
would decrease.

antiquated format with Slack, or some other "modern" group communication
platform? I find that the repetition of content makes these messages
unwieldy and quite challenging to read through to find the non-repeated
