Wade Out of curiosity I went to the Creative sight to check out the specs. on there modems. Their external modem is the only one they list as being usable under DOS all their internal modems require Win98 or 95. If a modem will work in DOS it can be configured to work in Linex, if it will not

If you have trouble setting up the print sharing, I see no reason why an A/B printer switch couldn't be used. just change the cableing so each computer is on the "output" end of the switch and the printer is the "input" side of the switch, then label A as Win and B as Linux. I haven't tried

I have a unique problem with mandrake 7.0. most people have trouble configuring x but mandrake has managed to make this painful ordeal simple (and even kind of cool looking). my problem is a cannot exit x. if i logout of x, i get a blank black screen and the entire system ceases to respond.
