upstream; I am closing this bug by showing a warning whenever
there are files under the configruation directory
(/etc/mongrel-cluster/sites-enabled by default) with an extension
other than yml and conf (that is, files that are silently ignored).

Upstream has announced this weekend 0.8 will probably be released;
0.7.2 has some incompatibilities reported with 1.9.1. I will wait for
the new upstream release to do the packaging - I am preparing the
changes to do so in the SVN tree meanwhile.

the exception raising on purpose — Clearly an empty string will not
result in a valid barcode!
I am removing the pending tag from this bug - I'd like to get your

As of ImageMagick 6.5.5-3, rmagick-ruby1.8 dies upon invocation with:
RuntimeError: This installation of RMagick was configured with ImageMagick
6.5.1 but ImageMagick 6.5.5-3 is in use.

/merging the two bugs you mention (#545586 was cloned off
544296 - Is there any cleaner/better way to proceed?) and tagging them
as pending (and will close them once the BinNMUs are in place). Excuse
me for not noticing this bug earlier on (or even searching for it! :-( )

switch to using only debian-ruby@ for everything
except commit logs (which go to pkg-ruby-extras-commits@). This matches
what the perl team does, and it seems to be totally bearable even for
bigger teams.

But, again, if the input is invalid, I cannot expect the output to
