Change the timeout value on the connection to 5 seconds or so. The DB will
retry. The AV has its grip on it, doing a scan, and won't let anything
else touch it until its done.

Try to change database name (extension).
For example:
mydb.sqlite
mydb.sdb
mydb.db3
I would use .sqlite extension and exclude that
files from antivirus check.
