Did a little more digging in my old logs. I think I found kernel logs from my zesty install. iwlwifi firmware jumped from v22.391740.0 up to v31.532993.0 (probably during upgrade). Shortly after that is when I experienced the first 'Microcode SW error detected'. Would it be worth me reverting

Hey Joseph. Thanks for your time and quick reply. I have no problem trying 4.14. However, this is a little outside of a standard install. I'm running '/' on top of ZFS. I'm pretty sure ZFS isn't out yet for 4.14. So if I install that version without ZFS included, my system won't boot. One
