I can confirm this on a Dell Inspiron 1546.
Pressing Ctrl+Alt+F7 showed the unlock session menu, at which point gdm
started working again, but crashed another time after switching from

I never changed the start order and as you already said the orderng is
correct. Further I noticed (on Xubuntu 8.04) and Ubuntu Server 8.04 NTP
being started and stopped during the boot proccess. I always thought it
was a normal behavior. ;-) What I found in /etc/network/if-
up.d/ntpdate though
but what about decorating the buttons (window controls)? I have not tried yet,
but I guess that the detail in gtk_paint_box works for the window border, but
not its controls!
Also, how does shadow work? how could the engine know if the border has to be
rounded or squared?

the stalled mythtranscode processes prevent the system from shutting

On my HP tablet with intel hda card, deactivating the smartlink driver
and then reloading alsa solved sound issue. I installed karmic last week
on it..worked fine for 2 days then no audio..i recomplied alsa
drivers..worked for 2 days and again no sound).

Given that Python 2.6 has a builtin sqlite3 module which is DBAPI 2.0
conformant (just as pysqlite2), what's the purpose of supporting an
almost identical API in an external package?
