You don't want to believe everything you read in the
papers m8 ;-).

Although, sadly, the above is more or less true:-(

You can of course find more or less anything your
heart could desire over the course of a month or so.
But the only two genres where the popular DJz can find
work 2/3 or even more often times per night is either
trance or London Underground (uk-g or 'speed') Garage
nights.

There are two main popular genres of trance.

'deep' Trance (German & sorta trending towards NY
house stylee) which the new 'superclubs' play for
richer yuppy clubbers.
&
'psy' Trance (German & sorta trending towards Goa and
hard, kunty tekno) which is played more at underground
or squat parties.

Someone was asking about obtaining booty bass in
London?

It appears sporadically either new or back issue
depending on distributor availability.

The following shops are your best best for new release
stuff and are listed in order of best back for finding
back catalogue in the racks.

Kinetic (Little Portland St, W1)
Atlas (Archer St. W1)
Eukatech (Endell St, WC1)
T.A.G. (Rupert Court (W1)

All these shops are within 10 mins walk of one
another.

Also try second hand, either down Brewer St W1, same
area as above or the collection around Music & Video
Exchange in Notting Hill Gate.

Slovenia - Isn't UMEK from there? He has some good
stuff out - particularly #4 on Chris Leibing's C.L.R.
label. He play for the first time in London, I think,
@ the End on 26th Feb. Also check Antog and Fandango
(Moldovia). Their surprise genre hit from last year
'drug dispenser' is unlikely to charm the purists but
certainly did the trick with the kiddz on the 'floor'.

Potential big market as the EU, and money, moves East..
