Yes, Ewan Pearson of Maas is definitely the co-author of the book and, yup,
he's big on Thomas Pynchon.

Sadly, no new LP for a bit, but it's coming according to Ewan though we may
all be celebrating 2001 (a spaced odyssey) before it emerges.

Talking of second albums, heard from Russ Gabriel that he has finally
finished the follow-up to the inspired Voltage Control. I'd like to take a
straw-poll of Ferox fans on the list (and GPR for that matter). How many of
you actually got to hear this brilliant piece of work. And how many of you
have been eagerly awaiting a second album from him over the last five years?

As for Brighter Daze, yes I have to confess that I am deep in the workings
of it right now. What line will it take? Well, it won't be the Generation
Ecstasy/Energy Flash style of cultural discourse and, regrettably, since
Kodwo Eshun is a far greater theorist than me it won't be Brighter Than The
Sun. But for those who read my Kraftwerk book or The Rough Guide To Techno
there are some pointers to be had there. But hey! - it ain't finished yet
so those who are quick with some feedback can enjoy some vicarious input at
the usual address. What I really want for Xmas is a book (and some more
records) by Tom Churchill ...

Cheers

Tim
