Im not sure if there is a differance between commercial and personal use. I was told that I would have to get proper permits from the city and whatnot if I was coming with a video cam. Your best bet, I would think, is to contact popculture media and find out their thoughts. Also, sometimes artists don't want pictures taken of them or video-i believe Mr.Mills is one of these people (i almost got booted out of sickness/recovery for taking a picture of him spinning)-unless preauthorized.

Subject: [313] cameras at the festival???
Date: Sat, 20 May 2000 19:34:57 -0400 (EDT)

Anyone know what the deal is going to be with bringing video cameras to
the Music Festival? Am I going to be tackled by a sweaty security guard
and have my camera confiscated? Just wanted to know beforehand if anybody
has the info. Thanks a lot

tom
