When the 'vinyl warping' thread last popped-up on the list (maybe 9 months
ago) someone from NSC in Detroit (Ron?) posted a really informative
explaination to the whole situation. Something about the US having older
record presses (compared to Europe), not being able to cut the master plates
as deep, and using lower quality vinyl compounds.
Maybe someone could dig the original post out of the archives?
