Brett dancer is a multi-talented young man. At the age 30 he has work with some of America's most prolific dance music masters such as Anthony "Shake" Shakir, Larry Heard, Jay Denham. It was while he was Djing in his home town of Kalamazoo, Michigan, that he met Jay Denham who invited him to produce some music on a new label Black Nation Records. It was to be the first release from the label and Brett's first step into production. Brett then moved to New York in late 1993, where he started producing more house-orientated material, and releasing it on his own imprint "TRACK MODE RECORDINGS". Brett has chosen to do his own distribution for the label enabling him to keep an eye on where his records are going, and keeping a personal relationship with the buyer. Since it's inception Track Mode has released over 17 E.P.'s, an LP and a Double pack, and it's first of a series of CD's called the Abstract Fusion series in association with London's MUSIC IS LTD.. Current projects in the works with Theo Parrish (Sound Signature, Detroit), Alton Miller (Distance France), Larry Heard (Alleviated music), Tony Rodriguez (Sound OF Music, New Jersey). TIPPY CANOE, AND CASEY, TOO: Casey Hogan, Producer, DJ, Remixologist. Casey, a newcomer to New York City, has quickly built up a prolific body of work, shortly after settling into a job at Sonic Groove Records. Already with EP's released on AV8 Records, Intrinsic Design, Immigrant, and with several more coming down the pike on Sonic Groove's own imprint, as well as Hidden Agenda, and Funk 542 ? all within the space of a year ? Casey has quickly built up a reputation for flawless tech-house productions unmatched by anyone. Funkbox is a weekly party with the aim to revive all that you loved about Electronic Music as a youth. With a cabaret, and space for a few hundred, Funkbox has the means to jack your body.
