I believe Dally in the Alley is this weekend in the Cass Corridor. Check it
out, its awesome-its a great chance to get a sense of Detroit's community.
Cloud 9 on Friday nights is a bit exciting too.
*nerdy speaking* Theres an exhibit at the Detroit Instute of Arts called
"Sultans" if you're into that history/Arabian nights/crazy rulers kinda
thang. Also for the first time ever some of Michigan's galleries and museums
are joining together to support video art installations. The museum here in
A2 is featuring a ny artist. Id check local listings, like a Metrotimes, for
that. And lets not forget Cirque de Soleil in 3D at the Henry Ford Museum.
