You mean they're not critical enough?

I suppose that would be a fair point.

On the other hand, this is a very small niche which people occupy simply
because they're already into the thing.

A critical review seems reasonable, but a critical interview is arguably
pointless when ignoring what [or who] you don't like speaks much larger
volumes.
