placing this blame on moby for "stealing Black music" is wrong. if you are
going to blame someone blame Alen Lomax he went around the south in the
1920-1950 going to prisions and share croppers houses recording them on his
protable record cutter. but you never heard muddy waters bi**h about him.
(now leadbelly was a differnt story he was used up by lomax and the record
comp ilk until he died). so I dont see how moby was stealing music.jist
because he white?? thats like saying stevie ray vahun stole the blues from
bb king. and the blue & jazz cats are about doing standards all the artist
cover one an other. how many other artist are doing blues laced techno (I'm
a little curious if there are others. but I'm sure there are and probby
before moby did it to???)
there are also no blues artist samples. moby plays most of the insturments
on play so who is he rippin off himself?

you know in Europe they don't have the racism problems we have here in
america(they have it but not as intense.). so not having a "black or
minority" artist is not as big as a deal as here. but like one list member
told me "everybody is a racist". I disagree racism is a learned expression
ussually from ones parents or close family member. anyways I'm so sick or
the race issue this list is about music and not who stole what. was it Juan
Atkins who said he was trying to imatate kraftwerk or was it derrick? I know
afrika bambaataa was hudge on them.
a beat is a beat and if you don't have rhythm you suck(lol). it does not
matter what race or gender you still will be a rhythmless wonder.

moby fact every song on play has been licensed in some fashion. good for
him. I think he knows that pop star stardom is like it's over before you
know it.

please don't take my response a moby defense but I think moby is doing what
he wants and I am getting tired of the moby pro/con posts that have been
plaguing the list for the past 2 weeks for not liking him a lot of people
sure talk about him allot. a very lot!

my pro/con moby post. so please dont take it personially. it's jist music
and weather you like it or not is your opion and this above is mine.
