Maybe Im saying things that everyone knows already..but the Akestra and Detroit (well Ann Arbor) have a pretty storied past no?

They played the Ann Arbor Blues Fest(which are regarded as legendary gigs) multiple times aswell as collaborating with the MC5......

I hope Im not re itertating common knowledge...but I would guess that that has some signifigance in their booking..plus it will be a cool show. Especially when they bust out the EWI midi controllers and start soloing. :-)

See you in May. :-)

Didn't Francisco Mora play in the Arkestra? Perhaps that's the connection
between Sun Ra and DEMF :)
