I want to emphacize this part: "In practice I don't think this leaves us any way to support an artistic community." Do you know why? Because the "artistic community" has NOT presented us a way to support them within the new context in which we exist. And the only way to change entrenched "communities" is via confrontation, otherwise they will prefer to exist in entropy. We will pay, we have payed in the past and we will continue to pay but they (the "artistic community") have to hold out a new hat for us to support them with. Tosh
