Don't know anything about them as people, but I was curious, too, after
the new niederflur releases were ALL I could find on the minus website.
I ran across the second record (in a series of 3, I think?) last week,
and it had some really subtle syncopated rhythms going on throughout.
I was actually looking for more housey stuff at the time, so I almost
took it off after the first track because it wasn't very exciting. But
it kind of hypnotizes you if you let it play a few minutes...
what I personally like about the tracks is that there really isn't a whole
lot going on. The bass line is killer on both releases and very
hypnotizing as stated above. Great to drop over something else or even use
alone.
if your into that very bass heavy minimal sound then I recommend picking
them up. I like the first release a bit better myself since it has a few
more subtle *deeper* qualities in it...Haven't heard #3 yet.

ps: and for something a bit different that I think is really cool (Herbert
fans should like the Bonnie and Clyde track) which this is normally not my
style but I can't put this record down or get some of it out of my head.

The recent Blaze (Fantasy RMXS w/ Herbert's mix is pretty dope too).
