Maybe....but place STRINGS OF LIFE next to Marshall Jefferson's House Music Anthem, and I think there is a DISTINCT difference. The mood created by the piece evokes the future. Which to me is a determinant of whether a sound can be called "techno" or not. It is "lusher" than other pieces to be sure....but I'm still saying it's techno.
