Even if you don't DJ, having a turntable is worth the small investment. You don't need a 1200 just to play vinyl in your home, you can get a decent turntable for around $100-130 US. Cheaper than a decent CD player and your discography will be able to expand tenfold. Not only are there thousands of more techno/house/whatever-style-you-like records but think of all the stuff that is out of print and never made it to CD. Imagine if you grew up with only turntables and tapedecks (like myself) and then suddenly CD players come around. If you didn't get on you'd be left behind. I buy primarily vinyl still and my wife has been converted to vinyl as well. The format is so nice... you can actually _read_ the text on them and the artwork is killer. Beats a 5x5 card anyday and then there's the gatefold records as well. All my friends have turntables and less than 5% of the entire group DJ.

Peace.....

Many who know me, are still baffled as to why I dont have a darn T-Table. Some have told me that 80% of the best techno and house/tech-house comes out on vinyl only. Just as others are bewildered by me not having a t-table, so too am I with EVERYONE having one....thus my question is this...

How many people, in anyones estimation, spin for a club, or DJ at private gigs, etc. As oppossed to those who just buy vinyl just to listen to the "80%-good stuff" on vinyl? (I really wanna freak'n know too)

O-jax!!
