That's what I mean. There are 2 types of Real Audio files. One is streaming (which cannot be captured), the other is a downloadable file. That one you can locate and save.
I haven't tried Mr. Bloch's suggestion in years. I couldn't do it back in '97 or 98 and just stopped trying. When you open a RealAudio file a .ram file gets copied onto your HD, usually in your temporary internet files if youre on a pc. locate that file and open it in a text editor. there you should find the a link to the downloadable .rm file on the server. it doesn't always work but there's no harm in trying! BTW, if the realaudio feed comes from a .cgi (like betalounge) its not possible to do this.....or at least i haven't found a way!! good luck fab --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
