Cex talks a lot of smack about overly serious sucker-ass idm and techno laptop producers who think that using max-msp automatically makes their boring music and live sets arty. Also, he calls out a lot of people that make careers out of cliches and talk about the underground but have international business agreements with multinational corporations.
anyway, he is freekin awesome, and like Slick Rick, he brings the lovin' feeling back to hip hop. Anybody who stops in the middle of their set to take the audience outside the venue to collectively figure out and sing all the words to Jeremy by Pearl Jam is king in my book. His set in Detroit was probably the most *fun* I have had at a gig in years.
