I had a lot of fun. He's never played here so Bone played to a Detroit Tech-ignorant crowd and he knew it. He played so many Detroit staples. Besides as stated below, he dropped two copies of the bells. Mill's "music man" stuff/ steps to enchantment, the other day. Old school Surgeon. He started with Choo Choo Romero without the treble. A little electro session. All on 3 decks. (even though he didn't use it 'til 20 minutes in) So much energy. I tooootally dug it.
Steve was cool too. Straight up electronic intensity. His own track he closed with screamed: analogue toaster in the sauna.......or sumpthin'......hmmmmph..... peace........ > DJ Bone put me back at DEMF. One track that he played had a vocal that went > (paraphrasing) "get up get up get up....sit your ass back down." Very funky > sh*t...it had some serious bump to it. Anyone know this tune?
