Magda has been working the decks here in the D for at least five or six
years now, and, IMHO is one of the best in town. For example, she performed
in the side room at Motor Lounge a few months back (tag-team with Liz
Copeland) the night Acquaviva played; that performance outdid John's show in
the big room. If youve had the opportunity to check out DE9:CE already, Id
say that her sound is more like that than Ive ever heard Rich do-- His sound
has always been more harder-edged, while Magda maintains a more funky/bouncy
style. Labels like Perlon, Klang, and the many other Brinkmann-esque
imprints. Definately one of my faves for the past year or two now.
