well, anything on those labels you just described are excellent. but you can also check out laws of motion, 2000 black, bitasweet, people. some of the recent stuff on JCR and Compost has been really pulling at my ear in a more traditional jazz/songwriting sense, Ian O Brien's latest album is amazing, and anything by As One is outstanding as well....for stuff leaning closer to house you can't go wrong with anything on environ,diaspora, moods and grooves and deep4life.
