Mindgames: Mindgames (H-Productions) Came out about 6 months ago only to get rather lost in the shuffle. Cari Lekebusch on a futuristic UR-styled hi-tech electro funk mission to bring the breakdance back. Lots of tongue-in-cheek humour & basslines to die for (all IMHO, of course).
The Aux-88 Electroboogie mix slams hard as well. Grab the Aux-88 meets Alien FM cd comp. with "Bass Magnetic," & "My AUX Mind" if you ever see it, along with VA: Origins of a Sound/The Electro-Bass Sound of Detroit. Wes np: Adam Beyer: Stockholm Mix Sessions 3 (Turbo)--great to hear the Slater mix of Kenny Larkin's "Loop 2" dropped in here, along with a few other Detroit goodies, & a stupendous Soul Designer track.
