Last year saw Hawtin get more attention for his DJ tool of choice than his considerable prowess behind the turntables, but this should serve as ample reminded, if needed. Offering a perspective from the other end of the electronic spectrum, trained Rephlexologist DJ AFX (aka Richard D. James aka Aphex Twin) appears for his Lost debut. Expect plentiful lashings of the man's unique brand of braindance, but above all, expect the unexpected. Steve Bicknell ploughs a path straight down the middle of these sonic tangents, uniting them under the Lost banner, and in the process showcasing his own take on machine funk. John Kennedy completes the Red Room line-up. Chairing proceedings in the Purple Room, Andrew Weatherall's back after making a splash at November's event. All indications are that this will be another special one, so don't miss. On the night he'll be re-united with Blood(sugar)brother and old school Lost stalwart, Alex Knight from Fat Cat Records.
