scfcu> As I said I'm relitivly oblivious to much of his Concept and Minus stuff and scfcu> from what I can gather it seems like these are largley DJ tools, but even scfcu> still, they have been released with original concepts and all I can say is scfcu> fair play to the guy and anyone that thinks his music lacks innovation now scfcu> needs to listen to his early early nineties stuff and get the full picture. scfcu> I dropped 'Technotropic' at the 313 party the other week and so wanted to scfcu> drop 'Technarchy', both those tunes will always rock a crowd.
I also like a fair bit of his stuff . . . "Kricket" is probably at the top of my list of "insectno." And "Spastik" has made more than one rotation breaking in the 1000 watt amp I just dropped in the proverbial ride. 1.2 kilowatts of rattley techno pride strategically pumping funk into the streets of a very confused Utah, boyeeeeee. *cough* I really didn't intend to come off as being anti-Plastikman . . . my issue is with the acceptance drones who defend every one of his gaffes as being a calculated stroke of genius. I can't think of any other techno musicians who conjure such unilateral zealotry . . . even die-hard Mills fans will admit that he's lost step at certain points. Oh and PLUR. I hate PLUR. That is all. ------------- Brian "balistic" Prince http://www.bprince.com - art and techno Strokes of Defiance EP . . . soon. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
