Let's see just how clever the Final Scratch manufacturers really are. The
trick to beating 'patent-busters' is marketing your technology in such a way
that the market comes to regard it as 'The Definitive Item,' - a la
Technics - thereby bucking all immitators, no matter how much cheaper, or
equally efficacious they are.

Me, I'm not prone to the prestige trap (more like I can't afford to be!) and
will buy what's cheaper as long as it works.
