so yor happy to take in just Detriot techno but no other techno??
I totally am. I tend to dislike techno clubs where the Detroit vs. rest of
the world mix is anything less than 70/30.
thats seems unreal that you can be soo blinkered in your
view on Techno..I thought the whole point of loving techno would open you
to
other things..
Most Euro/UK techno nights I've been to are *the* most blinkered in terms of
'other things'. It's the Detroit jocks I've found who quite happily throw in
stuff from other genres/styles. Thats why I prefer nights that have a 313
relevance/predominance - they tend to have more of the unexpected to them.
I guess thats why the uk scene is not well supported when ohters try to do
things, if there are more
uk 313 who have this view please speak cos this has defo shocked me.
I always thought I was atypical - so its encouraging to know I'm not the
only one :)
