I went to the peaches show a while back in detroit. The entire show flew over my head. *shrug* Though I won't front-I did get a tshirt.
The shout out to Juan etc. is cool, even though the beats and theologies behind the two sounds are on diff't avenues, IMHO. I was kinda peaved when I saw the cover of this issues Fader. To me they chose T&A over talent. I can't remember their name but I saw the act on the cover at the first electroclash festival. Basically they were an act all about 'look at our boobies, purposely chosen tight outfits and make up' instead of any really raw talent. I wondered if you had put the same act infront of a techno purist crowd, if they would of been as warmly accepted. Though the article was supposed to be about the Brooklyn electro scene (in normal 'we're proud, cool and from NYC Fader fashion), I thought it totally skipped over some of the history-such as Ladytron and adult. which, to me, have always stood about the beat and abstract lyrics. Then again, seeing Adam in a nice tight boobie showing dress might make the show more asthetically interesting too. Oh well. I guess I can't complain until my T&A are on the cover of Fader too.;) Larry T. gets on my nerves, and I'm not afraid to say it. Now, every one go get a mohawk and don't wash your hair with your Camper shoes on.:) d --- Kookie <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > I was there.
