There is also a mix set of his that can be listened to on the groovetech.com
archives.

Also on this subject is there any news of and decent 313 events closer to
london in the next few weeks? I have recently relocated from Sydney to London
and am not quite in touch with happenings.

Probably, no one needs to be told this, but Ed DMX is a mighty fine DJ. He
really had the crowd enjoying themselves here in Detroit when he rolled through
for the Ghostly International party celebrating the release of the excellent
Disco Nouveau. I was stunned and very delighted to see the "hardcore elite" of
the D singing along with "don't you want me baby, don't you want me ohhhhhhhh?"
and slow dancing to Prince at the end of the night. Ed himself was fun to
watch because when the spirit moved him and he really was feeling the tune, off
came the headphones and he'd do the disco shuffle from side to side in the
booth with his long hair exploding in motion around him and his fine, green
sports tee (was it a Saucony?)

At any rate, I'm jealous and would love to go to this event. For free no less.
If you have the chance, don't miss it. You'll leave with a big smile on your
face if it's anything like the show we were treated to here in Detroit.

Thanks again Sam, that was a quality evening.

Quick post to remind anyone in the Midlands of the UK that at Sunglasses At
Night tonight (our last event of 2002) we have special guest DJ Ed DMX (of DMX
Krew/Computor Rockers/Rephlex/Breakin'/Gigolo etc fame).

Entrance is FREE, the event runs 8pm-midnight, the drinks are cheap and the
venue is Junktion 7 in Nottingham (www.junktion7.co.uk). Email me for any
further info.

Next up is the Kraftwerk special on 9th Jan.

Thankyou for your attention.
