If I remember correctly, wasn't "Voodoo Ray" originally "Voodoo Rage", another response to the 808 State situation?
Voodoo Rage was a jungle/DNB remix of Voodoo Ray down on the Black Secret Technology album. Great album as far as that genre is concerned, in my opinion.
