To my knowledge slsk is only down for maintenance.
This is the most recent message posted on the german slsk board Feb 05 -

For the sake of individuals who are still unsure of the current status - Nir
has spoken, not only with Steve at the Napjunk forum, but with others when
he has had the time. The server is simply being switched to a new host, and
needs to be set up once again. He has estimated that this would take roughly
three days, if all goes well.

This happened last year as well as slsk was down for three or four days.

Best wishes,

Oli
