correct - however when i mix i dont want the records to skip at all, so its
the trade off i make. for strictly listening purposes less weight on the
record is obviously better

you have to be listening to a 12" record a LOT for it to noticebaly lose
quality

also, someone suggested switching the weight "upside-down". not good
because then you don't know how much anti-skate you need. and you get A
lot more weight on the needle -> MORE WEAR on the records.
