Hi, I decided to put less wait on the tone arm of my turntable to make my records last longer. But now I see that with some records the sound is much distorted. Especially with the heavy and loud pressings.
Examples of such pressings: "samuel l. sessions - tribecutz" "lil louis - french kiss (josh wink mix)" "kdj - black mahogany (on kdj records, nsc pressing)" allmost all of my other records sound normal. I just wanted to know why this is, i.e. why is it that some records sound distorted when you put less wait on the tonearm?
