Francois De Roubaix : Remixes Vol.1 (Cinemix) Four track remix EP of the 60s-70s French composer, who died in 1975. Soundtracking mainly French language films (including the classic 'Le Samourai'), these versions are reworked contemporary producers and artists, each in their own peculiar way. Carl Craig delivers the peach of the EP, a Paperclip People styled depth charge of gigantic proportions which will become a super sought-after joint. Typically loopy and theatrical are Gonzales & Taylor Savvy, Luke Vibert gets on a breakin' electro tip and there's muddy hip-hop stylings of Twitch It's very pricey though, but I got over that after playing it twice - I got my moneys worth of enjoyment out of it.
