A few things that come to mind-- a weekly house night at club FIVE on
Saturday nights and the small Filler party Sunday nights (ambient,
downtempo-y). Once a month on a Wednesday night there is an "electro-clash"
party called Sleaze but never been so can't comment. The major weekly (Buzz)
closed several months ago. The only EDM shop, Yoshitoshi, closed last week
much to everyone's suprise and dismay. There is a new Saturday night "rave
style" party at a venue called the Tunnel. It's a phat pants and glow stick
sorta crowd.
In Baltimore, there is a club called SONAR that has been booking some good
talent although not techno specifically. Magda was there recently however!
There is a good music store, Modern Music in Balto tas well. Most people
here shop for music online and go up to NYC for good techno events.
