Ian - I don't think Detroit residents get a chance to hear Mills quite as
much as us Europeans, so maybe they were expecting something extra special,
considering the occasion.

ahh but that's what I thought he did? I mean SPW said the other day he did a
true Wizard set and yeah I think that's what he delivered. I guess whatever
Mills does he will always be judged on what he did or has done. yeah sure I
have seen him play better but still if I died tomorrow I would be happy to
know I saw Mills in Detorit close the festival, now tell me that ain't
special even if your from Detroit.

Don't get me wrong I am not saying that Jim and co should not have an
opinion but hey at least it wasn't as bad as Juan Atkins was :0) But even
so he played wicked tracks but if you wanted to have a "go" for Train
wrecking then Juan would win ever time :)

To be fair to Mills, he does seem to have made a bit more of an effort
recently to diversify his sets (when performing in the UK at least).
I have even heard him material as divers as Prodigy's Charly and K.O.T's
Finally and other less Axis/PM orientated techno and house the last two or
three times, amongst the usual Step To Enchantment/Alarms/The Bells fare he
is notorious for trotting out time and time again.

I made a post about mills and hawtin letting us down. Since then I have
gotten 14 "private" emails from people who totally agree.

DonĀ¹t worry people you can agree in public, Jeff Mills wont shoot you
through your email. :0

On a side note, has anyone ever seen jeff mills at a record store, you see
many other dj's going shopping in various cities but does mills. If not then
he damn well should, we heard his same 30 tracks enough already. ;)
